About the Principal


Principal

Prof. Pallavi Manish Lavhale completed her B. Pharm (Gold Medal), M. Pharm (Herbal Drug Technology, Gold Medal), and Ph.D. from The M.S. University of Baroda, Gujarat. With over 17 years of experience, she has been actively engaged in teaching and research.

Her expertise lies in phytochemistry, quality control and standardization of herbal/Ayurvedic formulations, and analytical method development and validation. She holds two Indian patents and has published numerous high-impact articles in reputed journals.

She is a recipient of several prestigious fellowships and awards, including the UGC Junior Research Fellowship, TIFAC Women’s Scholarship, and University Research Fellowship during her Ph.D.,in addition to travel grants from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the Sir Ratan Tata Trust. She has also led multiple research grants and industry-collaborated projects.

In 2020, Prof. Pallavi was honored by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow as a Faculty Warrior for her virtual teaching efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is also an evaluation expert for Pharmacognosy video lectures broadcast on the Swayam Prabha Channel under IIT Madras.

Prof. Pallavi has strong proficiency in NBA accreditation processes, actively participates in national and international conferences, and holds memberships in professional bodies including IPA, APTI, and APP.
