The Department of Pharmacy of Ram-Eesh Institute of Vocational & Technical Education (RIT) is providing 4 years B.Pharm course and 2 years M.Pharm (Pharmacognosy) which is affiliated to U. P. Technical University, Lucknow and approved by AICTE and Pharmacy Council of India.

Pharmacy as a profession has been gaining increasing popularity with the growing awareness of health and medicine.

Excellent employment opportunities exist in Industrial practice, Drug control and Administration, Research and Development, and Teaching. Pharmacy is a highly promising course and it places heavy and exacting demands on students in the areas of discipline, academics and diligence.

Courses Offered

B. PHARMACY

Duration course                :      4 years (Eight semesters) Full Time

 

Total number of seats      :       60

Eligibility:

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Pharm. first year must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board of Secondary Education with minimum of 50% marks either in PCB or PCM. Priority will be given to students who have qualified the U. P. State Engineering Exam.

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Pharm. Second year must have scored 60% in aggregate in Diploma in Pharmacy.

Admission Procedure

Candidates wishing to enroll must do so on the prescribed form enclosed. The application should be accompanied by attested copies of the following documents:

• 10+2 or equivalent examination certificate;

• Character Certificate from the school last attended;
  
• Medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner; and
  
• Transfer /migration certificate.
  

MASTER OF PHARMACY (PHARMACOGNOSY)

Duration course               :            2 years Full Time course

 

Total number of seats      :           10

Eligibility:

B. Pharm with First Division, GATE qualified candidates will be preferred for admission on the basis of their GATE score /ranks. Any vacant seats in these institutions may be filled-up from UPTU-MPSEE-2006 merit.
